Engineering Excellence Awards

The Engineering Excellence Awards competition is a national program sponsored by the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the business association of engineering professionals. ACEC has conducted the Engineering Excellence Awards competition for more than 43 years. The top five winners in the ACEC-SC competition will be eligible to continue in the national competition.

Entries are judged on the basis of uniqueness and innovative applications; future value to the engineering profession; perception by the public; social, economic and sustainable development considerations; complexity; and successful fulfillment of client/owner's needs, including time and budget constraints, of the client. Entries may have been constructed anywhere in the world, but must have been designed in South Carolina.
