USC Gets New Associate Dean of International Programs
and Continuing Education

Dean Michael D. Amiridis, USC College of Engineering and Computing, announced Dr. Hanif Chaudhry, former Civil and Environmental Department Head, appointed him to Associate Dean of International Programs and Continuing Education.

Dr. Chaudry joins the dean’s leadership team. Dean Amiridis said in Momentum, the College’s newsletter, “Commerce appears unmindful of national boundaries. This global reality places upon today’s engineering and computing graduates the expectation that they be able to operate comfortably and effectively in an international environment.”

The dean said he has asked Dr. Chaudhry to serve as the college’s associate dean for international programs and continuing education. The college has been busy exploring strategic partnerships with universities in other countries whose programs align closely with the colleges’ strengths.
