Peter Strub, PE accepts ACEC-SC’s Service to Profession Award from

Peter Strub, PE, of Greenville, SC, was awarded the 2007 Service to the Profession Award by the American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina at its annual conference in Charleston in June.
Strub graduated from Iowa State University in 1981 with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Civil Engineering. With many years experience in the engineering field, Strub is now a Principal and Vice President of Transystems Corporation. Strub has been a vital member of the community and ACEC-SC.
Strub has served in all officer positions in ACEC-SC, finishing as the 1998-1999 President. Strub is currently the National Director of the ACEC-SC. He served as the Chairman of the Member Organization Committee for last year’s ACEC National Fall Conference in Charleston, which had record-breaking attendance. Strub was a driving force in establishing the SCDOT/ACEC-SC partnering Committee, which has been a great, long lasting relationship between ACEC-SC and the SCDOT.
Strub is an active member in ACEC-SC, American Public Works Association, SC Transportation & Research Council, the Institute of Transportation Engineers, the Greenville Economic Development Commission, and the Greenville Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee.
