 Tenth Annual ACEC-SC/ SCDOT Annual Meeting & Tradeshow
This year’s joint meeting was held on October 10, 2007 at the Embassy Suites in Columbia from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. This meeting’s objective is to improve the coordination between the Department of Transportation and the engineering community.
2008 ACEC-SC Membership Directory
ACEC-SC is currently working on the 2008 ACEC-SC Membership Directory. This directory is a great everyday tool for any engineer and government agencies.
ACEC-SC gives Presentation to SC Association of Counties
President, Haze Elliott, PE, of Columbia and 2005-2006 ACEC-SC President, Jim Broyles, PE, of Anderson represented ACEC-SC at the South Carolina Association of Counties 40th Annual Conference Friday August 3rd in Hilton Head, SC.
 ACEC-SC Second Annual Fall Golf Tournament
The American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina is hosting its Second Annual Fall Golf Tournament Oct. 29, 2007 at Dunes West Golf Club in Charleston, SC.
ACEC-SC Members Nominated for Engineering and Surveying Registration Board
Theresa H. Hodge, PE and Chuck M. Joye II, PE where selected to by the SC Council of Engineering and Surveyors Societies along with Craig Helms, PE and Steve Czernak, PE to be nominated for these two seats. ACEC-SC nominated Theresa Hodge and Chuck Joye to the Council.
 ACEC-SC National Director awarded the Service to the Profession Award
Peter Strub, PE, of Greenville, SC, was awarded the 2007 Service to the Profession Award by the American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina at its annual conference in Charleston in June.
 2007 ACEC-SC & SCSPE Annual Convention
The South Carolina Society of Professional Engineers and American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina held its 50th annual convention in Charleston, SC in June at the Francis Marion.
Local Engineer Commissioned NCEES Southern Zone Vice President
Gene L. Dinkins P.E., P.L.S, has been commissioned Southern Zone vice president of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying at iitsannual meeting.

2008 Engineering Execellence Awards
The American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina is proud to announce Engineering Excellence Awards. The competition , which recognizes engineering firms for projects that demonstrate a high degree of achievement, value and ingenuity.
