HNTB Named 2026 ACEC-SC Firm of the Year

The American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina (ACEC-SC) has named HNTB Corporation its 2026 Firm of the Year.

The award was presented June 5 during the South Carolina Engineering Conference & Trade Show and recognizes a firm that has demonstrated sustained leadership within ACEC-SC, meaningful contributions to the consulting engineering profession and a strong commitment to the communities it serves.

HNTB was selected for its exceptional engagement with ACEC-SC and the Infrastructure Works Institute, where its professionals serve in leadership roles and contribute to key committees, initiatives and strategic planning efforts.

The firm has consistently supported ACEC-SC programs, conferences, legislative initiatives, educational opportunities and industry events. Beyond the organization, HNTB professionals serve in leadership positions with numerous transportation and infrastructure organizations at the state and national levels.

The Awards Committee also recognized HNTB’s commitment to workforce development through internships, mentorship programs, leadership training and STEM outreach efforts. The firm actively supports initiatives designed to inspire and prepare the next generation of engineers and transportation professionals.
